What began like a flash
Like the blink of a lash
So fast our fleeting worries ran
As soon as they began
To see and be
That there is hope in
Happy and sad
And honest and not mad
Just freedom and honor
And doing what’s right
No cheating the fools or
Cheating your wife
Cause life is a journey
A dream that we share
No time to waste worrying
Or spending on fear
Just rock with the clock
And dance till you drop
Don’t stay on top
And be what your not
Make your life sacred
Take pride in your means
As we all know that life
Is not what it seems?
Put away your bombs
And instead lets play with toys
In our own private paradise
Like we did when we were
boys
All I asked for was knowledge
And traded it for light
It made me see the darkness
And find the will to fight
The setting sun and clouds
Asked a favor of my mind
It said our life was precious
And our power sweet as wine.
